i hope the good senator reads this. y not make a bill for every filipino or entity(business establishments, single proprietor, partnership, corporation or even foreign national, retirees) depend on the authorized capital, plant equivalent no. of trees.(eg. mahogany,narra, or other fruit bearing trees)
we can sell the harvest or the tree itself after pay our foreign debt. maybe we can ask for few years of break from paying interest.
it can provide jobs for the maintainer/ keeper.
just a simple counting. we are around 80m filipinos 1 tree per person multiply by 10k per adult mahogany tree(10 yr old) = php 800,000,000,000. just an estimate.
of course, we require more for those who are capable.
just think about it.

why not include bamboo, which is more adaptable and faster to grow.
bamboo is the choice of interior decrators and builders internationally, because its renewable and is matured for harvest after three years.
trees in particular the hardwood takes 10 to 30 years to mature.
Senator Lacson, Bamboo industry will save the Philippines, take a good look on how bamboo is being utilized throughout the world as flooring, wall panels, and so many that you can surf the net and be amazed at how bamboo can generate the business that we have missed.

I think we have to conduct a study first if we have available locations for all these trees and there is appropriate resources to manage it, such as in transporting these trees from the allocated locations, and a trustworhty body to oversee the progress and selling.
