 :-[Im new to this website, but have read and learned a lot and that motivated me to be a member. I thought at first, a week ago, I was the only one in this planet traumatized by GSIS..but there are so many with different reasons...When I surrendered my policy because of maturity, I was expecting to receive at least 3/4 of the amount of the face value. It took them (GSIS) 5 months to compute how much would I receive. I was informed that only balances on policy loan will be deducted upon maturity as the previous experiences of others whose policy matured 2 years ahead of me. Meaning if you have small amount of balance, bigger net proceeds...That should be my case, unfortunately, I almost got nothing...medyo nahiya ata sila kaya instead of 3/4 almost 1/8 na lang of the face value, pampalubag loob baga. When I scrutinized the voucher....they deducted premiums in arrears of government and personal share plus interest, salary, sos and policy loans....the last three loans have been paid in advance but take note THERE IS NO REBATE...(salbahe no!!!) pero sila ok lang mag charge ng patung-patong sa hindi ko naman kasalanan...Tang****nang GOVERNMENT SHARE yan...di ba dapat DBM ang magbayad nyan.....why sa'kin siningil...ok na lang yung mga loans ko sana kasi ang utang dapat bayaran pero yun pa man agrabyado pa rin ako....walang rebate. Pano ba yan????Sa makakabasa pwede bang tulungan nyo ko...kasi walang sinuman sa GSIS ang gustong sumagot...Rason,,,,nag aapdate kami ng system, atbp. pang rason na pwedeng maka transform sa king maging terorista pero no way..kasi kailangan ko pa na mabawi yung mga pinagbabawas nila sa kin no.....ilang years din ako sa govt. service plano ko sana hanggang 65 pa na uugud-ugod na ko pero sa tingin ko masaya sila kasi di na ko makaka reklamo sa kapalpakan nila...pls help me out..i need enlightenment and the right direction....thanks...

i am retiring in 2 years and i wanted to know how many creditable service i have accrued, so i visited the gsis website. ang ganda ng home page: welcome, _________, to the GSIS Member's Information Center. Please click any of the following selections for your GSIS records." So I did. I clicked "Record of creditable service." Ang lumabas sa screen: We are currently updating the status of membership and accounts (SOMA) to the latest cut-off date. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you."
i clicked "Service Records." Ganun din ang lumabas sa screen.
i clicked "Outstanding Loan Balance." Ganun pa rin ang lumabas na message.
Out of frustration, I just logged out.
Lahat kami sa UPLB na malapit nang mag-retire ay ninenerbyos na sa magiging kapalaran ng aming retirement, mula nang si winston garcia ang humawak. wala na kaming nabalitaang maganda mula sa mga nagretire na. suwerte daw yung mga nagretire bago umupo si garcia. wala daw silang naging problema. ano nga kaya ang puwede nating gawin, bukod sa tumawag sa thingyg Maykapal?

I would like to inquire re: EDUCHILD PLAN of my son Justin G. Loveria plan number GEA50607 which my husband Manuel T. Loveria (policy number CM483736) has fully paid. Justin will enter college this June 2014. I would like to know how we can access thee use of educational plam.
