OUR STREETS, REFLECTION of our SOCIETY

OUR streets are the exact reflection of our society and our people. If we have to improve our society, we need to act now (including the ever worsening traffic jams, within 5 years). We can act by identifying all the problem/s and all the solutions.

Our streets are the sign of good discipline of our people. You look as Subic Base, or in USA where Filipinos can easily follow traffic rules and regulations.

BEAUTY, siempre pa.

But, everything else, are also true.

Look at the policemen, who disobey traffic rules and regulations, everytime.

Look at the government vehicles, being used for personal use.

Look at the politicians, who are very friendly during campaign period, waving here and there. But are always in a rush after getting elected, Palaging naka wang wang.

Madami pa, endless yan. Including the Pork barrel, where a standard 10% is widely known in the construction of all our streets and government infrastructures.

And everybody does his thing in the streets also. Yong tindera who occupies the sidewalk to sell his/her wares, are equally guilty of STEALING government and peoples property. At the same time endangering the lives of pedestrians, who are supposed to be using the streets.

The public utility drivers who make traffic rules for personal motives, who kills a lot of people, in so many ways, in so many times.

The businessmen who dont provide parking for customers, are equally guilty of stealing the sidewalks, for their customers.

The local government who cannot enforce the laws of the land.

This post is absolutely true. Why must one expect to live in comfort when he himself discomforts his living.

Descipline among the people is lacking that's why everything around the place falls into disorder. And even worst, the officials who are expected to enforce order are the ones who are the main offenders. Where is dignity gone to?

A lot of people, ignorants and educated alike, have shallow wisdom about the consequences of their action. They are pioneering the wrong culture that will be the cause of their own suffering in the future, along with their own future generations.

The country needs enlightenment. A law is doomed to be violated if the people are yet to be enlighten of its purpose.

I agree. Nawawalan na nga ako ng pag -asa dahil sa araw araw na mga balita at nakikita ko dito sa Pilipinas. Pero mahal ko ang Pilipinas, isipin ko pa lang na umalis ng bansa nalulungkot na ako.. lumaki kasi akong walang ibang pinangarap na mabigyan ng serbisyo kundi ang mga pilipino.. pero definitely ayokong maging public servant.. .

Sana magkaisa na ang opposition wag nang magkanya kanya.
Huwag na po sana magwatak watak ang opposition kasi yun na lang ang natitirang paraan para mawala sa poder ang kasalukuyang nakapuwesto.
Sana sa election sa 2010 ang magtambal na lang na i endorse ng opposition ay si Senator Lacson for president at Si Senator Chiz Escudero for VP ;D
Maaring sa tambalan nila ay mabuhay ang pag asa natin na makabangon ang bansa natin sa lugmok nitong kalagayan.

At sana nga po hindi magkatotoo ang kinatatakutan ni Sir Lito Banayo sa isang komentaryo nyang inilathala sa isang tabloid na malamang na gamitin ng present administration ang crisis sa pagkain para manatili sa pwesto(i.e. Martial law or emergency power.. magdasal po tayong lahat na matigil na ang lahat ng paraan ng present administration na mapahaba pa ang term nya.. ) sobra na tama na hirap na hirap na ang mga Pilipuino

In fairness, magaling ang administration na ito na pawiin ang pakialam ng tao sa situation ng bansa. ginagawa nila lahat ng paraan para magutom at maghirap ng husto ang mga pilipino para mawalan ng pakialam at nang sa ganon hindi na lumahok sa mga kilos protesta.. . sobrang galing..
