Only recently found Senator Lacson's blog and web sites on the internet and enjoy reading both.
I am a regular visitor to the Philippines. My wife is Pinay, although I met her here and had not been to your great country prior to this.
While I love the Philippines, it does cause significant sadness to see how successive governments have ground the country into the dirt. Corruption is an ugly every day occurance there and it threatens any chance of a great future.
This is awful for a country that I have grown to consider to be my second home.
My main interest in your country is that of transportation and I run a website, blogsite and numerous forums on the topic. The recent developments aimed at rebuilding the countries railways have been terrific, although I do fear all the corruption allegations/reports currently being brought forth will derail all these important projects.
Anyway I look forward to other peoples views in this forum and look forward to meeting others. I used to post to the ph.gov forum but anything slightly negative, or that the government didn't wish to answer, was always censored :-(
