Howdee, As each day passes I get continually more worried about the future of President Gloria's vital railway rebuild. So much trouble has occured to date and Northrail's first section is not yet even near completion, while the Linkage project dose not seem to be racing along at a huge rate. What if the government was to change tomorrow. Would they scrap these important projects, important for the people and the nation? If the president does see out her term we will see Northrail likely not complete to Clark, let alone the rest of the way up to San Fernando, La Union. The linkage project will likely see completion, although it seems to be of lesser quality than that being employed for Northrail. Northrail's extra expense needed is obvious when you note the cheap way in which the linkage project is getting done. What of Southrail, the Batangas port line, Sta Cruz and the other important branchlines up north? Will a rival government see that these are built in an attempt to remove the constantly growing road crisis in the Philippines, or will they be just forgotten about again. Projects this important must be guaranteed through to completion. The country deserves it - The Filipino deserves it. I do worry about it!
